*POSITION SUMMARY* The Human Resources Specialist will be responsible for a variety of human resources (HR) administrative duties.
This role will facilitate daily HR functions like keeping track of employees’ records and supporting the recruitment, selection, orientation and onboarding process.
Must commit to implementing and maintaining our core values.
The Human Resources Specialist position will contribute to the attainment of specific goals and results of the HR department and the organization.

*PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES* * Assist with the recruitment and hiring process by _sourcing candidates_, maintain job postings, attend job fairs, schedule interviews, coordinate assessments, perform _background checks_, generate offer letters of employment, and organize pre-onboarding task, etc * Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of personnel related data (payroll, personal information, leaves, benefits, etc.
) in both paper and electronic files to ensure all employment requirements are met * Schedules, coordinates and conducts or assist with new employee orientation and team member training sessions * Provide support for a variety of HR activities such as compensation, talent management, employee engagement, succession planning, workforce planning, off-boarding, metrics reporting and data analysis * Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues * Responsible for accurate and timely data entry of employee information and ongoing maintenance in PeopleSoft * Assists with planning and execution of special events such as organization-wide meetings, employee recognition events, holiday parties, and charity fundraisers * Perform other duties as assigned *KEY COMPETENCIES* * Entrepreneurial-minded, driven to succeed and a commitment to driving results * Excellent relationship building skills with a demonstrated ability to quickly develop trust * Self-starter who can work independently within existing processes or operate effectively with ambiguity * Strong oral and written communication skills *EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE* * Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience * 1-2 year of Human Resources experience preferred * Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office products *PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS* * Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
