Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Permit Expediter to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge and experience working with permit requirements in Miami-Dade, Broward County, and other Florida areas.
This individual will play a crucial role in ensuring that all necessary permits are obtained promptly and accurately to facilitate the smooth progress of our projects.
Responsibilities:
Coordinate and facilitate the permit acquisition process for various home improvement and general contracting projects.
Review project plans and specifications to determine permit requirements.
Communicate effectively with local government agencies, including Miami-Dade, Broward County, and other relevant Florida jurisdictions, to obtain necessary permits and approvals.
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and codes throughout the permitting process.
Maintain accurate records of permit applications, approvals, inspections,
and related documentation.
Proactively identify and address any issues or obstacles that may arise during the permit acquisition process.
Requirements:
Previous experience working as a Permit Expediter, preferably in the home improvement or general contracting industry.
In-depth knowledge of permit requirements and procedures in Miami-Dade, Broward County, and other Florida areas.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
