Preschool Teacher 2/3 year old class

We are looking for a committed and dedicated teacher; who loves working with children and loves to teach.
DCF 45 hrs and CDA credentials are a plus.

*Responsibilities:* * Develop a weekly lesson plan and implement the age-appropriate curriculum.
* Provide a nurturing loving, caring environment for all children.
* Help children achieve in all areas of developmental milestones.
* Potty Training / Changing pull-ups * Keep a record of daily health checks on each child and attendance.
* Maintain positive communication with parents, students, and staff.
* Assist with circle time and all other activities throughout the day.
* Follow daily classroom schedule.
* Positive team player.
* Great classroom management and organizational skills.
* Maintain a healthy and safe environment.
* Ability to lift 25 pounds.
* Interact with children at all times.
* Must be punctual and reliable.
* Must be flexible in receiving assignments.
* Cleaning classroom daily.
*Qualifications: * * High school diploma * 45 hours of DCF childcare training * CDA/FCCPC certification or higher Early Childhood Education degree (preferred) CPR/First Aid * Level II background screening (Clearinghouse) *Skills:* * Proven experience as a teacher * Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the school’s policies and procedures * Excellent communicability and interpersonal skills * Well-organized and committed * Creative and energetic * Strong moral values and discipline * Knowledge of CPR Job Type: Full-time Pay: $12.
50 - $14.
