Mark Catholic School in Southwest Ranches, Florida has an opening for a qualified *Third Grade Teacher*, for the upcoming 2024-25 school year.
This candidate will help students learn, apply higher order thinking skills, and is qualified to teach elementary school.
This teacher will be required to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program at an elementary school level and performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.
_Salary is commensurate with certification and years of experience_.
*Qualifications:*
* BS / BA Degree in Elementary Education.
* FDOE Teaching certificate in Elementary (K-5), temporary or professional required.
* Excellent classroom management skills.
* Strong presentation skills with skill in use of instructional technologies.
* Proficiency with Apple technologies such as iPad and proficiency in Canvas, Plus Portals, MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
PowerPoint a plus.
* Excellent oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
* Good spelling and grammar required.
* Supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church; experience in Roman Catholic environment preferred.
* Knowledge of basic tenets of Catholic Church.
* Must have a professional demeanor.
