JOB
Responsible for supervising recreation activities assigned as part of the program at the site.
The ability to exercise some independent judgment in working out details of assignments.
Supervise and assist in evaluating counselors.
Ability to solve problems as they arise and exercise supervision.
Responsible for contact with parents.
Summer Camp 2024 dates are to be determined, tentatively June - August 2024*.
Days will be Monday - Friday, any time between 7 AM - 6 PM.
*Please be aware this is a seasonal position, so consistent availability is key in staffing our summer camp.
Any time off requests need to be shared as early as possible in the hiring process and are subject to approval based on staffing needs.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Organizes and supervises games, sports, individual and group activities, arts and crafts, and special activities;Teaches fair play and sportsmanship; administers first aid; promotes safety.
