Regional Fitness Educator Specialist

The Regional Fitness Education Specialist (FES) will be responsible for ensuring excellence in the delivery of the Orangetheory workout.
Representing Orangetheory Fitness Corporately Owned Studios, the FES will work closely with the Director of Fitness (DOF) and Regional Manager (RM) to regularly manage all aspects of fitness training, education and development.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES: Creates a positive, high energy, respectful OTF studio environment Manages all aspects of home studios OTF fitness staff to include, but not limited to, hiring, training, performance management and ongoing development Creates the class schedule for the studio and ensures proper coverage for all scheduled classes Handles member concerns in a professional, objective manner with the goal of resolution Builds OTF attendance, retains current members and achieves monthly revenue goals Ensures all music played during classes is appropriate (all music must be "clean") Attends marketing outreach events as needed Participates in marketing and social media efforts and ensures that coaches are effectively promoting themselves and their workouts to members Ensures organization, cleanliness and condition of the training room; dumbbells aligned and re-racked, exercise equipment is clean and organized, wipes are loaded at all times Informs the Studio Manager of any equipment in need of repair or maintenance Assist the Director of Fitness in training and development of Fitness Coaches.
Assist in identification of educational needs and creation of innovative solutions to support positive growth within region.
Assist in the creation, design and facilitation of fitness training workshops and perform continuing education for Fitness Coaches as needed in order to educate the fitness team.
Evaluate and track return on investment for all educational programs and report to Director of Fitness.
Stay up to date on/be the resource for evolving education released by Orangetheory Fitness.
Assist in the facilitation of the OTFit Certificate Program to enforce adherence to OTF guidelines.
Assess candidate performance throughout OTFit Certificate Program and exercise discretionary judgement to determine if candidate meets OTFit criteria.
Assist in the promotion of compliance to quality control, and brand standards.
Develop strong and supportive working relationships with the regional team to ensure collaboration within the unit, idea sharing, and a focus on meeting changing or organizational demands.
Assist in ensuring a unified learning theory across trainings to uphold brand consistency.
Practice regular independent, discretionary judgement to ensure OTF strict guidelines are being followed.
Teach at least 6 Orangetheory Fitness workouts per week at home studio.
Must be present in studios a minimum of 3x/week, completing 15 studio visits per month.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE Strong Presentation skills Self-motivated and driven fitness professional Excellent communication and organizational skills required Ability to work independently and utilize discretionary judgement in conducting remote fitness trainer evaluations.
Ability to effectively give training presentations to small groups, with previous experience in training/mentoring.
Strong computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and basic software programs Compliance with the OTF Brand Able to work flexible schedules as needed, including weekends and holidays Successful completion of the OTFit Certificate Program Minimum 3+ years experience as a leader in the fitness industry Minimum of 1 year as an OTF Educator Current nationally accredited personal trainer or group exercise instructor certification.
Current CPR/AED certification.
