Special Need Tutor (ASD)

Tutor Doctor Boca Raton is seeking a tutor who is passionate about working with students.
Tutor Doctor provides one-to-one individualized tutoring in the home.
* The ideal candidate is professional, a good communicator, empathic, and knowledgeable.
* Candidates should be experienced in working with *Non-Verbal Autistic Students* and able to support them with academic (*Elementary School level*).
* Candidates should be able to drive to *West Boca Raton* for the tutoring sessions.
*What We Offer:* * Flexible Schedule - part time * *2 - 3 weekly sessions of 1.

*Minimum Qualifications:* * *Florida teaching certification AND/OR diploma in Education* * Previous experience in teaching/ tutoring Special Needs student * Ability to build rapport with students * Excellent communication and people skills * Dependability and professionalism * Ability to travel to student’s homes for in-home tutoring in BOCA RATON * Excellent written and verbal communication skills *Responsibilities:* * Teach all subjects with the curriculum provided (elementary school level) * Travel to the student's home for tutoring * Design and implement lesson plans * Communicate effectively with student, parents and other professionals * Document and communicate with progress reports *LOCAL APPLICANTS ONLY*- Due to travel to student home, we only accept local candidates.
