*Preschool Art Instruction:* Provide engaging and age-appropriate art instruction to preschoolers.
* *Basic Techniques:* Introduce preschoolers to various art tools and materials such as crayons, markers, finger paints, brushes, and more.
Teaching them how to hold and use these tools effectively.
* *Color Exploration:* Help children learn about different colors, shades, and how to mix them to create new colors.
* *Shapes and Lines:* Teach children about basic shapes (circle, square, triangle) and lines (straight, curved) through simple art projects.
* *Textures and Patterns:* Introduce preschoolers to different textures and patterns through sensory art activities.
* *Creative Expression:* Encourage children to express themselves through art by providing open-ended prompts and projects.
* *Fine Motor Skills:* Design activities that help strengthen fine motor skills.
* *Art Appreciation:* Introducing young children to famous artists, art styles, and artworks in an age-appropriate manner.
* *Collaborative Projects:* Encourage teamwork and social skills by facilitating group art projects where children work together to create something larger than themselves.
* *Mess Management:* Teach children the importance of cleaning up after themselves and taking care of art materials.
* *Celebrating Creativity:* Provide positive reinforcement and encouragement for children's artistic efforts.
*Ideal candidate will possess the following skills*
Art Teacher Expertise: A strong understanding of early childhood pedagogy, art background, and passion for teaching.
Previous experience in teaching music is preferred.
Pedagogical Skills: Ability to effectively communicate and teach art concepts to children, adapting teaching methods to suit different learning styles.
Passion for Education: Enthusiasm for working with children and a commitment to fostering their curiosity and art expression.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to interact positively with students, and fellow staff members.

Availability for after-school hours on weekdays most likely from 3-5pm/and or morning hours.
Competitive hourly rate, $25 for during school day instruction, $45 and up for after school classes.
