Job Summary
As an RN - School Nurse at Elite PPEC, you will play a vital role in maintaining the health and wellness of our student body.
You will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care, managing health-related documentation, and collaborating with therapist and parents to ensure the overall well-being of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
1.
Health Assessment: Conduct health assessments of students, including screenings and immunization checks, to identify and address health concerns promptly.
2.
Medication Administration: Administer prescribed medications to students following established protocols and maintain accurate medication records.
*Feeding: Provide G Tube feedings.

First Aid and Emergency Care: Provide immediate first aid and emergency care as needed, and ensure emergency response plans are up to date.
4.
Seizure Management: Provide specialized care for students with epilepsy, including seizure monitoring, emergency response.
5.
Assistive Devices: Assist students with mobility aids, assistive devices, and adaptive equipment, ensuring their proper use and maintenance.
6.
Behavioral Support: Collaborate with the behavioral support team to manage and address behavioral health concerns that may affect students' well-being.
7.
Health Records Management: Maintain accurate and confidential health records for special needs students, including detailed health histories and incident reports.
\*\*Qualifications:\*\*
- Current RN license in Florida.
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with preference given to candidates with prior school nursing experience.
- CPR and First Aid certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate health records.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an educational environment.
- Knowledge of relevant healthcare laws and regulations
Pay: $33.
00 per hour
