Position Highlights: The Sr.
Manager Financial Systems will be responsible for administering and maintaining the Oracle EPM Cloud Platform, creating and maintaining financial reports in Microsoft Power BI and Microsoft D365 Financial Reporter, leading user acceptance testing for financial system upgrades and changes, maintaining the G/L accounts, financial dimensions and validation structure in D365, and ensuring that accounting help desk questions are answered timely.
Responsibilities: Organize and direct the work of assigned financial analysts.
Maintain the Oracle EPM Could Platform, including Planning/Smart View, FCCS and ARCS, by creating and modifying hierarchies, members and rollups, testing system updates and checking for load errors.
Lead the monthly reporting structure changes meeting and ensure that requested changes are approved and loaded to both D365 and Oracle EPM.
Work with accounting to produce the final statement of cash flows in Oracle FCCS.
Create and modify reports in Microsoft Power BI and D365 Financial Reporter.
Assess the impact of changes to financial systems and any systems that interface with the financial systems to determine the impact on reporting.
Modify and test reports for the changes as needed to prevent disruption at implementation.
Continuously review and adjust D365 financial dimension combination validations to prevent coding errors or allow combinations that should be allowed to post.
Work with cross-functional teams to assess the impact of acquisitions on financial systems and reports.
Adjust financial system members/values and reports as needed.
Partner with finance and operations leaders to understand reporting needs and develop BRD’s.
Prioritize the backlog of report requests and communicate regularly on the status of open requests.
Create and maintain user manuals for D365 and ensure that accounting help desk questions are answered timely.
Other responsibilities, as assigned.
Work Experience Required: 7+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least two years of supervisory experience.
Understanding of U.
S.
GAAP accounting, financial/reporting processes, management information systems, and database structures.
Must have experience developing reports with SQL Experience working with Oracle EPM and Microsoft Power BI preferred.
Experience working with job costing and billing system data preferred.
The candidate must demonstrate previous experience and success in IT system implementations.
The candidate must demonstrate previous experience and success in influencing and driving change through projects and programs across multiple organizations / functions.
The candidate must have strong communication (oral and written) and relationship building skills.
The candidate must have advanced experience in Microsoft Office products, including, but not limited to, Excel.
Education Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or other business-related field.
Master's degree in accounting, business administration, or CPA certification preferred.
