Job Summary: The Field Supervisory Nurse provides supervision visits to caregivers and clients at the client’s place of residence.
This is performed in accordance with a plan of care under the direction and supervision of the Supervisory Registered Nurse.
Job Responsibilities: Provides services in accordance with the plan of care and in coordination with the Nurse Supervisor.
Supervises and evaluates caregivers CNA/HHA/Home Maker).
May assist with the initial evaluation visit and reevaluations of the client’s nursing needs.
Initiates the plan of care and necessary revisions based on the nursing process.
Clinical Notes are returned to the office within (3) days of assignment by the Nursing Supervisor.
(Weekends within 4 days) Informs the Nursing Supervisor of changes in the condition and needs of the client or family.
Review the Plan of Care with the client and family members.
Counsels the client and family/significant others in meeting nursing and related needs.
Understands and adheres to established Agency policies and procedures.
Coordinates supervisory visits of CNA/HHA’s and maintains compliance with (90) day regulations.
Monitors work performance of CNA/HHA’s and identifies learning opportunities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Education: Graduate from an approved school of professional nursing and currently licensed in the state of Florida as a Registered Nurse.
Experience One year of prior nursing experience is required.
Home Health experience a plus.
