The JM Family College Internship program is designed to create an opportunity for college students to have meaningful work experiences that tie to their programs of study.
As part of this program, you will actively contribute to your team’s success, learn about JM Family’s companies and culture while obtaining new skills through learning opportunities, networking events and much more.
The ideal candidate will be available to work full time hours during the Summer Internship Program (June 3, 2024 - August 9, 2024).
This internship will include projects and tasks that relate to the development of JM&A product suite including Service, Maintenance, Warranty, Gap and other F&I products.
This internship will provide exposure to the process of developing products while working in a collaborative team environment.
Responsibilities:
Participate and contribute as an active member of the JM&A Product Development team and the JM Family’s Intern Program team.
Assist in the development of new F&I products and product modifications by collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Participate in brainstorming sessions, contribute creative ideas, and help create product concepts.
Conduct market research to identify trends, emerging technologies, and customer preferences in the automotive F&I sector.
Analyze competitive offerings and identify gaps or opportunities.
Prepare documentation for product development processes, including product details, execution, and communication plans.

Qualifications:
This is a full-time, Hybrid position (remote Wednesdays and Fridays)
Ideal candidate will be actively enrolled in a Bachelor or Graduate degree seeking program at an accredited college or university with a focus in Project Management or Product Development (qualified candidates actively enrolled for a degree in a related field will also be considered) and must have completed at least one semester of classes
Relevant completed coursework including Product Development, Project Management, Data Analytics or similar
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
Prior internship or professional work experience preferred.
Candidates should be detail oriented, creative, curious, and willing to contribute as a team player.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products including the PowerApps and SharePoint
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, to support cross-functional communications with a wide variety of individuals, including external / internal partners and candidates; and ability to conduct presentations.
