As a Business Management Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in the collecting, consolidating, reporting and analytical review of Southeast Toyota's 177 Dealer Partner’s monthly financial statements.
This position is the first line of defense/review for the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of submitted dealer financial data, along with the related financial accounting, reporting, and analysis.
This role works closely with dealership controllers and personnel, along with internal stakeholders (the field teams and management) to prepare a variety of reporting, misc.
deliverables, and ad hoc requests.
A Business Management Analyst must be able to develop and maintain business relationships with the SET field, internal management and stakeholders and Toyota Motor North America Market Representation associates.
Responsibilities:
Preparing the monthly financial accounting and reporting deliverables for Southeast Toyota’s 177 Dealer Partners
Reviewing, consolidating, analyzing and presenting financial results to management on a monthly basis
Preparing data visualizations for analytical storytelling and presentations
Preparing monthly financial statements and related reporting for SET Dealer investment programs
Creating/Building slides and decks for meeting, projects, and presentations
Working closely with SET field teams, in an effort to provide timely responses to inquiries and ad hoc requests
Creation of dealer performance decks to support SET’s Dealer Performance Review program
A working knowledge of Toyota Market Representation policies, to ensure compliance with Toyota’s capital requirements, such as net working capital, profitability, debt to equity, and current ratio
Coordination of annual controller event, including event planning and content building
Coordination of SET Controller mentorship program
Coordination of yearly Toyota Financial statement project, ensuring that all cubes and databases are current and operational
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field and approx.
2-3 years of experience.
CPA or MBA, a plus.
Proficient in US GAAP and related financial reporting regulations and standards
Strong analytical and accounting skills, as well as excellent attention to detail
Ability to review and analyze financial statements to communicate financial performance and trends.
Ability to interpret and apply policies to business and financial documents to evaluate compliance.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to work under pressure and cultivate and develop key relationships.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with a proven track record of communicating effectively with cross-functional departments.
Ability to present to peers and to all levels of management.
Must possess strong organizational, time management and follow-up skills and be able to work on several projects at the same time with strong problem solving and decision-making skills
Results driven with a high level of energy and an ability to quickly grasp and develop/implement new concepts and methodologies.
Experienced with database and reporting tools, such as Essbase
Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite ie Teams/Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook.
Working knowledge of Adobe and DocuSign
Experienced with Power BI and Power Apps.
Ability to create Ad Hoc reporting and data requests timely and accurately
Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule on short notice
Ability to travel 2-3x a year (minimal)
