Summary:
Coordinates and directs all functions and activities of the department of Plant Operations and Engineering.
Assesses new and existing business for operational and regulatory compliance and will provide operational and regulatory support.
Assists with facilities management operational analyses and by providing support in the development of sales proposals.
Essential Functions:
– Directs daily department operations to achieve quality improvement, fiscal, productivity, and patient satisfaction goals.
– Achieves set objectives within budgetary limits and in accordance with all regulatory licensing, codes and standards.
– Develops local construction and renovation proposals and ensures all capital projects are on budget and schedule.
– Manages the day-to-day activities of construction, renovation and utility projects.
– Reviews building systems and operational activities to ensure facilities comply with the laws, regulations and codes.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related field preferred; High School graduate w/ experience greater than the minimum would be considered
Experience: 4-6 years acute in Engineering or related field preferred; High School graduate w/ experience greater than the minimum would be considered
Credentials: Certified Healthcare Engineer (CHE) or Certified Healthcare Facilities Manager (CHFM) strongly preferred
