Job Summary
Part time opportunity open for Master's Level Social Worker/Mental Health Counselor/Marriage and Family Therapist needed to provide Individual and Family Therapy in Broward County Area.
Therapist is focused on adolescents and children, and adults.
Range of therapy dependent on person served case by case basis and therapist expertise: mental health, substance abuse, parenting skills, etc.
Important focus on persons served and family centered approach, making home visits, getting the family involved.
In addition to working with adolescents, children and families, We are also looking for those special therapists who want to work with and help our adult population who reside in Mental Health Assisted Living Facilities (ALF's) and are in partial or full remission of their diagnoses of the Schizophrenia spectrum, chronic depressive disorders, and Bipolar Disorders.
Benefits mileage reimbursement.
Caseload required for Part Time is minimum 15 persons served with a required 15 hours of direct service per week, for a possible total of 15-20 hours of work a week.
The therapist works according to scheduling and meeting for consistent weekly outpatient sessions per person served needs and as instructed by supervisors.
The therapist may provide services over telehealth, in-home, in-community settings.
Therapist may also be placed in an office, associated affiliate location, or school-based location dependent on population strengths and professional capability to hold that position.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Community or telehealth therapy sessions to individual/family at home and school dependent on person served; this position requires driving personal vehicle to the place of service if it is requested by the person served, using personal cell phone to make contact and schedule appointments, and using personal laptop/computer to create required documentation.
- Complete required documentation of services and sessions; including, but not limited to: Progress Notes, Contact History, Biopsychosocial, Initial Treatment Plan, Treatment Plan Review, CFARS/FARS, etc.
- Work in advocating and helping persons served coordinating and getting the services they need as well as informing caregivers, family, support network of these services.
- Clinical supervision, peer review sessions, team meetings, training, paperwork.
- Open communication with persons served and Active Community Health Center
Qualifications and Skills
- Master's Level Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, etc.
(accredited and recognized as valid in the state of Florida)
- Bilingual speaking favorable but not required
- Previous experience as out-patient therapist is favorable but not required
- Previous experience with Florida Medicaid compliance requirements is favorable but not required
- Previous experience working with family and children is favorable but not required
- Previous experience working with schools is favorable but not required
