```Duties:
- Provide personal care to patients in their homes, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with mobility and transfers, including using proper lifting techniques.
- Administer medication as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature.
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding.
- Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to patients.
- Follow care plans and communicate any changes in the patient's condition to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role, such as a nursing home or home health aide.
- Knowledge of working with people with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Ability to lift and move patients safely.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and basic understanding of healthcare systems.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards patients.
- Ability to cook nutritious meals for patients if required.
- Knowledge of hospice care is a plus.
