SUMMARY: The Sales and Service Leader is responsible for maintaining a sales and service focused structure that contributes to the overall sales goal success of assigned branch (or branches) and reinforces the Bank's vision through team engagement and modeling of expected sales, service, and production behaviors.
The overarching focus of this role is Leadership, Sales and Service.
A Sales and Service Leader spends approximately 70% of his/her time on sales production and 30% of his/her time on branch and team management.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Other duties and special projects may be assigned.
Assist the Producing Market Leader in ensuring the branch meets and exceeds day to day established sales and revenue goals and credit quality standards through personal and staff production.
support the PMLs efforts within business community and civic organizations to generate new business.
Lead, direct, manage and coach all personnel within a branch to meet and exceed established short-term and long-term sales goals.
The Sales and Service Leader takes the lead role in being the "sales coach" for the branch.
Meet and exceed personal production goals for credit, deposit, and fee income categories.
Approve specific check amounts, wire transfers, cashier's checks, uncollected funds, and insufficient funds based on credit authority limitations preset by management.
Identify obstacles and opportunities and empower team members to remove obstacles to sales and service under personal control.
Maintain an understanding of all current financial products, policies, procedures and regulations.
Adhere to all current policies, procedures, and compliance/audit requirements.
Manage programs and reward systems developed with the Producing Market Leader to increase morale, develop employees, and maintain high levels of performance, etc.
in order to assist in reducing turnover.
Support the Producing Marker Leader (PML) efforts within business community and civic organizations to generate new business.
Direct and coordinate the day to day activities of a Branch, involving responsibility and accountability for budget, personnel, goal-achievement, compliance requirements, and 100% client satisfaction.
Manage service levels against customer expectations.
Works closely with the Branch Operations Officer and Producing Market Leader to continually improve branch performance and ensure all team member performance is being appropriately addressed.
Performs account and product opening/servicing as needed and assists clients in learning about self-service options available to them for 24/7 account access.
Adheres to and complies with applicable, federal and state laws, regulations and guidance, including those related to anti-money laundering (i.
e.
Bank Secrecy Act, US PATRIOT Act, etc.
).
Adheres to Bank policies and procedures and completes required training.
Identifies and reports suspicious activity.
EDUCATION HS Diplomaor GED required Associate's Degree preferred Or Bachelor's Degree preferred EXPERIENCE 3-5 years progressive banking (branch) experience with demonstrated leadership capabilitiesrequired Strong branch operations and sales experience preferred
